Most of our community opportunites have been put on hold as we evaluate how to best serve our community during the COVID 19 pandemic and observe the saftey guidelines recommended by our governor.

 

                                                                                                                               

 

 

 

ALL STAR SPORTS

Contact us if you are interested in helping. Sign up for both basketball and volleyball takes place in November each year with games beginning in January. Coaches will be decided on after the teams are picked. Even if you can only attend a fraction of the time you will be a great help. All coaches will be required to submit a background check.

 

Baptist Men on Mission:                     

                                                                                                               

Jeremy Bennett heads up this organization which includes men from DBC as well as other Baptist churches in the area. Men of all ages are encouraged to meet the second Saturday of each month at designated locations for breakfast and a community service project. As the need arises, men will be inivted to participate in additional service projects.

Join Carletta Hanks one Tuesday of each month to bake cookies to distribute to people in our community that would enjoy some homemade cookies and a short visit. Judgement House      November 6-8, 2019

 

 

What is Judgement House?  For those of you who are not familiar with Judgement House...it is a walk through drama that presents the truth of people’s choices versus the consequences of those decisions both in this life and the next.  The presentation maybe too intense for children under 10.  Adults need to accompany children through the presentation.
